WhAT IS THE AUSTIN FOUND CITYWIDE TREASURE HUNT? The Austin Found Citywide Treasure Hunt is a race designed for heavy thinkers with light feet. Teams solve clues at checkpoints throughout the city and then return to the starting point in order to claim a prize.
Who can REGISTER? Everyone! Families, schoolmates, colleagues, co-workers. Teams consist of two to four members and the 2006 categories include Open, Business, College, High School and Novice. Go to the "Register" section to sign your team up today.
Where does the money go? Austin Found is a non-profit organization and proceeds from the event support early education and literacy initiatives. |

Austin, TX -- January 9, 2006. Austin Neighbors Help Austin Schools: When a group of South Austin neighbors learned that Austin was overlooked as a race site for a national organization’s treasure hunt, they seized the opportunity to make the race their own.
